HillCountryHomes.com was founded by Benjamin Cohen aka “Texas Ben” in order to help Hill Country buyers get a better home buying experience. Texas Ben started in the industry in 2001 initially working as a mortgage loan officer and eventually becoming vice president of branch operations. He was featured in Broker-Agent magazine back in 2004, around the time he founded InvestRealEstate.com, which offered financing options to real estate investors via the web, tv and radio.
After living and investing in Austin, Ben set his sights on Hill Country in 2020 in search of land, self-sufficiency and freedom. And that’s exactly what he found as he purchased an 8-acre estate property in Jonestown TX, known as the Gateway to Hill Country. In just 2 years, Texas Ben completely transformed this property from a dusty home on 8 raw acres into a literal country paradise.
